Published by Frederick Warne, London, undated, [1873]. Complete in 6 volumes. Hardbacks in decorative cloth bindings. The books measure 23.5 x 16cm. viii, 288; viii, 355; ix, 410; viii, 328; viii, 368; x, 319pp. With three-hundred-and-seventeen fine and botanically correct colour plates, one in black and white as called for. Collated against the number of plates to the spine of each volume, vol. II notes 40 however features thirty-nine as seen in other copies of the same edition. A complete set.

CONDITION
A lovely clean and complete set. All the cloth bindings are in good condition. Small tear to the top of the spine of volume IIi. All endpapers good and inner joints secure with no cracking. All contents present to all 6 volumes and pages are in lovely clean condition throughout. All plates present and in lovely clean condition. No names or writing to the books. Overall very good.
