We are happy to offer for your consideration and absolutely lovely handpainted covered dish soup terrine from the Quimper village of France. It is absolutely exquisitely painted with lots of detail and expertise. The fleur-de-lis which is the symbol of royalty In France and is quite Frequently used in creating Faience pottery.


This particular piece is in Very Good Condition, exceptional considering it’s age. There are no cracks or repairs. There are some small flecks of glaze missing on the edges. The Tureen is 9 inches across including handles and 6” inches tall. Please feel free to ask any questions. We are happy to combine shipping whenever possible.

It’s clearly marked HB on the Underside and is made using a Tin glaze finish. Lovely handpainted fleur-de-lis add a wonderful French touch.
