	Through all the changes in the production of *Haynes Flutes* there has been a desire on their part to retain "that sound" - the beautiful core with rich colors for which *Haynes Flutes* have become known worldwide. This handmade *Head Joint* reflects the classic design, unique projecting timbre and quick response which has been the genesis of Wm. S. Haynes’ flutemaking since 1888. Interestingly enough, the Gold Plating on the Lip Plate and Interiorof the tube has a substantial and very positive effect on the sonics of the head joint and therefore on the entire flute. !! Note: This head joint should fit all Haynes Flutes (and many others as well) but some adjustment may be necessary !!
