Copeland & Garrett (c1833-1847) succeeded Josiah Spode (c1770-1833), then become W. T. Copeland & Sons: (c.1847 to 1970) who then reverted to Spode Ltd from 1970 onwards. Not sure what the "New Blanche" name means, one source calls it the "name of the body of the ware" but not able to clarify what that means. Spode uses the same pattern which they call "Sussex".
