This is an old, antique, original hand tinted wood engraving page from the Harper’s Weekly Magazine from over 138 years ago.

The date is December 20, 1884 and the Artist is Thomas Nast.

The title of this hand colored piece is “Cutting Mistletoe In The South.”

The size of the actual page is 11 inches across by 7 1/2 inches tall.

The image is matted. ….

With the mat it measures 14 inches by 11 inches. The mat does have a couple of small stains on the upper right hand side. I did not try to clean it. I did photograph (see final 2 photos) this spot so you can get a good look. Please see photos. It is on the outside, on the MAT, not on the paper.

The Harper’s Weekly page is in great condition! The colors are beautiful. This has been in a box in a cabinet for many, many years and is a part of my father’s personal collection. He is a collector of Nast, Rackham, and Leyendecker.

Please see all of the photos to get the best view of the condition. Thank you so much for taking a look!
