Optically, it is in top condition overall.
Visually very clear, with no scratches, fungus, or haze on the internal elements.
Even if you look inside under a strong light, there are only a few tiny dust particles.

It has slight signs of use, but it is not major dented, chipped, or any brass.  
The filter thread shows no signs of wear.
The rubber grips are neat and have almost no wear or fading.
The mounting flange is clean, with little wear or dirt. 

■ Functionally: 
The lens works perfectly, the focus is very firm and buttery smooth with proper resistance designed for Macro top sharpness. 
The aperture ring stops positively and clearly at all F stops, aperture blades are clean and oil-free, mark-free.
