Notes regarding Display replacement:
Sometimes the screen will be dark, and difficult to see.
Cleaning off the glass and shining a light into the display makes it easier to see.
(You can also use this method to verify that the battery and control wheel are functioning properly.)
Connecting the device to a computer should also provide evidence of power.
Please verify that there is evidence of power, prior to ordering repair service.
The display needs to be replaced when the screen is dark.
(I am not currently offering a service to replace the glass on top of the display, if I manage to find a supplier, I will begin to offer this service.)
On
some rare occasions,
there will be an unrecoverable issue with the circuit board, where the display does not work, even if it is a new display. On these rare
occasions, I will return the device to the buyer, and refund them the
entire payment minus a return shipping fee of $5.
Notes regarding Control Wheel replacement:
The control wheel needs to be replaced when:
Buttons aren't working properly and/or
Scroll wheel isn't functioning properly.
On
some rare occasions,

Notes regarding Stuck on Apple Wheel:
Sometimes this device will not boot past the Apple Logo even after a factory restore.
This problem can usually be resolved with this service.
On
some rare occasions,
