This lot consists of the medals and memorabilia belonging to Sir Harry Sinclair Campbell Budge.
One time secretary to successive Governors of New South Wales and an outstanding public servant within the NSW govt.

A box set of knives and fork present to him from Frederick Lord Chelmsford 1906 - 1913 (Governor of both QLD and NSW) whom Budge served as his private secretary. 
Two original pieces of paper work
Being the parchment doc for the CMG and a letter conferring the award.

Sir Harry's father, Alexander C. Budge, was clerk of the Executive Council. Henry entered the Public Service in 1889 after attending, The King's School, Parramatta. At 29, he became official secretary to the Governor, and continued in this office until his retirement at 63. From the age of 43 until his retirement he was also Secretary to the Executive Council of NSW.
