This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment.  Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes.

This is an absolutely outstanding reproduction of a middle 19th century (1840s -  up to the early 1870s) Civilian Man's Double-Breasted Paletot style Frock Coat with three working exterior pockets - eight matching same fabric-covered Buttons down the front (see photo) and correctly patterned wide fall collar (more accurate reproduction than most you will find).  This fits very well and tailored nicely for the middle 19th century.  A common coat for men of multiple stations of life. Very, very nice all around.  Body is lined in brown polished cotton and both sleeves are lined in off-white, natural-colored cotton. Can't be beat for the price.  Never worn and new.

SIZE is tagged as a 40" chest, but made slightly oversized so can easily fit up to a 42" chest.  Made of a beautiful wool in a rich Scottish-style Tweed.

Armpit-to-Armpit:  21 1/2"

Sleeve Length:     24"

Length of Coat:    36"

A nice coat for Civil War re-enacting, SASS, Cowboy living history, Neo-Victorian and Steampunk.
