Dave Brubeck Quartet- Red Hot And Cool Columbia CL669 1955 Mono Canadian Rare!.

A rare Columbia Canadian 1st pressing 1B/1C matrix in super condition for its age- the cover is astonishingly good.

The heavy vinyl has been ultrasonically cleaned in our Degritter and has come up shiny and black with a few hairline scuffs and a more visible scratch about 1.5 cms on Side 2 tracks2/3- however it played through this without issues. I have shown this in the last photo.

The labels are vibrant and clean with no spindle marks.

Playback was amazingly good as these old mono pressings often are. Wide clear sound, really vibrant and clean, absolutely delightful.

The cover is beautifully smooth and shiny with vivid print colours, no fading, no writing, and very clean even on the rear. I would have graded this NM except that the cardboard is starting to split at the top edge and there is slight wear through beginning at the bottom.

For its age a beautiful copy and really unusual to find records like this in top condition. A rare find.
