The AstroMaster LT 60AZ Telescope from Celestron delivers a 60mm aperture for basic celestial viewing. The StarPointer finderscope is factory attached to the optical tube. It has an illuminated reticle to help zero in on the general field of view containing the targeted sky object. The StarPointer's battery is included. Two eyepieces of 10 and 20mm are part of the package as is a star diagonal to help lessen neck strain during long viewing sessions and help observe objects nearer the zenith of the night sky. The extendable steel leg tripod has a deluxe accessory tray that, besides providing the convenience of where to place the extra eyepiece, pencil, observation notebook, etc., also adds to the stability of the tripod. An easy to use manual pan-handle mount furnishes altazimuth movement of the scope around the celestial dome. Fully multi-coated optics supply clear and crisp images.
