The gorgeous lines of the 'MR10 chair' designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1927.

Inspired by fellow Bauhaus master, Marcel Breuer's use of tubular steel, the design is thought to mimic the style of early 19th century rocking chairs.

This gorgeous example carries an Italian label and avoids all the telltale signs of a cheap replica.

The thick saddle leather is supple and unmarked; the underside is devoid of cracks and splits; the feet are all in place; the metalwork is unscratched and shiny and it doesn't bounce up and down like a Citroën 2CV.

A gorgeous, timeless chair that will not disappoint.

I'm in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and if I can assist with local delivery I surely will. I also have good contacts with couriers who do regular runs to other states.

Thank you, Robert
