Coleus Forskohlii- Indian nettle, also called nettle, coleus, Indian sage or coleus, is a perennial plant growing in tropical countries. This plant is appreciated, among other things, due to the content of a substance called Forskolin; research indicates that other components of the plant in the form of volatile oils, other diterpenes and coleonols may contribute to improving the absorption of forskolin and increasing its activity.

Forskolin increases the production of AC- an enzyme called adenyl cyclase (adenylcyclase), associated with cell membranes. It is a type of master enzyme that stimulates other enzymes to regulate the growth of muscle mass and initiate fat loss processes. It converts adenosine triphosphoric acid (ATP) into cAMP - Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate, which is the body's most important regulator responsible for intensifying the breakdown of fats in fat cells. This compound ensures accelerated transport of fat to muscle cells for burning.
