Hello and thanks for checking out this listing for a single used Shimano Ultegra Di2 6870 ST-6870-R 11-speed LEFT STI brake/shift lever for your Road, CX, gravel, or touring bike! This shifter was removed from a pre-owned bike during a component change and will come to you in the excellent used condition seen in the included photographs.
Classic STI design is compatible with all 2x11-speed electronic Shimano Di2 components and mechanical cable actuated brakes.
As with all used parts here at The House of Cogs, this shifter was treated to an expert cleaning and detailing to prep it for sale. Firmware was updated to the latest version using Shimano's E-Tube Project software program.
Overall condition is a solid 8 out of 10 with typical signs of prior use such as some minuscule imperfections on the braking blade. Rubber hood shows typical signs of hand contact but none of the "gummy" feeling that many STI hoods take on as they age. The lever functioned perfectly prior to removal. Lever return spring is snappy & strong.
