Long ago sold out, this White Star Line 'Hoggett' was recreated by Stuart Crystal at their now-closed Brierly Hill foundry in England's West Midlands. Number of only 1,912 made in 1997 (the number is etched into the base), this is an authentic replica of the 'Hoggetts' made exclusively for Olympic & Titanic and comes in its original presentation box and the Certificate of Authenticity.
In original box with certificate, has never been used and only been out of the box a few times since purchase.

Height 12” including base
4 3/4” Diameter
CONDITION: New, boxed with LEAFLETS etc. as shown in photo Vintage commensurate with age. Box shows signs of storage…but still very good commensurate with age.

What is a Hoggett?
The bottom of the cut-crystal decanter is round, so cannot be kept by any guest at the dinner table as the port is passed around by the host, who keeps the wooden base, meaning no one can "hog" the port!! This is a VERY RARE, highly collectible Stuart Crystal item that will continue to increase in value.
