Nice Vintage American made Cross Zip. Sz 40. No hype. No marketing. Just a solid riding jacket that came from a company out of Santa Rosa that catered to actual motorcycle enthusiasts who used their jackets to ride and the jackets were built in house. They only had a few patterns to choose from, but they were well thought out for riding and executed nicely. These age and patina very nicely. This particular jacket hasn’t seen enough wear to show that yet.

I have 2 of these jackets but I need to make some closet space and I am keeping the one that fits me best. I’ve had many many many American made leather jacket brands from Schott, Vanson, Langlitz, Johnson, Buco, Sears etc etc.. and also many high end Japanese reproduction jackets such as Freewheelers, Real McCoys… and while I can’t say the attention to detail SOME of these companies can show is present in this jacket, I can absolutely say that this jacket doesn’t disappoint. In fact I’d say that in many ways this jacket surpasses some of the companies mentioned in many categories.

In terms of being functional, having quality leather and utilizing a pattern that provides an excellent fit for both casual wear and/or on a bike, this jacket checks those boxes.

Sz 40 and fits as such, in my opinion, but please check out the measurements. Also, see the pics. This jacket is not brand new and, therefore, not perfect. It’s damn near close, but still. The leather is supple and not in need of conditioning or rehydration. The seams are strong. There is a scuff on one of the elbows. With a little leather conditioner (if you wanted) it would barely be noticeable and does not affect the wearability and/or integrity of the jacket. . Ask questions. I want you to be happy and have the right fit. I understand all too well the leather jacket fit game, believe me. So, again, ask questions and I’m happy to help. I’ll get right back to you.
