Quite a unique set of 3 wonderfully created folk art primitive snowman characters…each full of personality with hand made bodies as well as hats and clothing. Found these many years ago and have stored now in displayed so in need of a collector who will bring them out of the closet so to speak!

All paper mache done in a coiling manner. a base was made for each and each had eyes nose etc made using pins paper with hats of paper and she has a hand sewn outfit…see all images for details. The little accompanying snowman ornament is original as found…after minimal touch up around base edges to preserve the pieces, I added a small wood Santa to her and a small tree to the other snowman. These are not attached so you can display with or without. The little snowman ornament is as found attached to its paper mache snowman from underneath with a pin.

All have the original finish and their expected patina, wear and aged discoloration as shown. These are very sound throughout and not falling apart as well kept and treasured by me as well as by the maker.

Although I do not know their age, I would guess 1950s or so by the styling and on the bottom of the snow woman can be seen old black and white cartoon characters to an extent thus my guess on the age and believe made in the US…

Tallest is 7.5” then 7” and she is 4.5”

Appx 3-3.5” diameter

And bases about 4” L

Top hats are appx 3” H

Longest nose is 1” other two just over .5”

Tiny snowman ornament is 2”, the Santa 2.5” and the tiny tree 1.25”
