  • The mug with beautiful cherry blossoms is designed and handmade at the Afuku Kiln(亜福窯) in Seto-city(瀬戸市), made of "Setoyaki 瀬戸焼" earthenware in Seto-city, Aichi prefecture, Japan.
  • All of Afuku Kiln's items are hand-painted one by one by craftsmen. Although each item is carefully made using skilled techniques, each item has its own individuality.
  • Since coarse clay is intentionally used, you can feel the warmth of the pottery. In addition, the cherry blossoms are drawn in a well-balanced manner so that you can be satisfied from any angle.
  • Seto-city, an official Japanese Heritage sites, has continuously been producing pottery for almost 1000 years. In Japan, the word "setomono" refers to “pottery”. The world's leading high-quality, white-fired pottery clay produces ceramics with beautiful glazes and paintings.
