Kvass is a fragrant, refreshing drink that perfectly quenches thirst. With our mixture you can brew 10 liters of fragrant homemade kvass.

Package contents: mixture of rye-wheat crackers and dry fermented rye malt - 195 g; dry baker's yeast - 5 g (g).

PREPARATION METHOD:

1.      Pour the contents of the package into a saucepan and pour 1.5 liters of boiling water, mix thoroughly and leave for 20 minutes in a sealed container.

2.      Add 8.5 liters of boiling water, mix thoroughly, then leave for 2 hours. Strain and cool to (30-35) ° C.

3.      Pour the yeast out of the bag and add 1-2 cups of sugar (400-500 grams), place in a warm, dark place for fermentation.

4.      From the moment the foam appears, the kvass is ready for use. To improve the taste, you can add raisins, a sprig of mint or lemon balm.

5.      Close the bottles and place in a cool place.
