The Dress

TRULY STUNNING, AUTHENTIC MUSE BY BERTA Wedding Dress! Hand made!

Purchased for USD $8500.00 and only worn for a few hours. The dress has been professionally cleaned, is in excellent condition and stored in a garment bag. It has been very carefully stored in a non-smoking, clean, odor free home.

This dress is absolutely magical and photos *do not* do it justice! In the sunlight, I sparkled like real life Cinderella. I purchased it and had its alterations done by L'FAY Bridal in New York City. 

This is the most meaningful, beautiful garment I've ever owned and I actually have to sell it to pay for unexpected life expenses. Not because I want to, or because anything is wrong with it. It's quite the opposite!

Even though I never imagined selling it, I love the idea of the dress bringing as much magic and beauty to another bride's day as it did to mine. It was the first dress of twenty that I tried on over two days and nothing else compared. It has only ever been owned by me, and I have only ever worn it on one day. It is in excellent condition and will be delivered to you cleaned and ready to go.

It's been stored in its box, in a dark, cool, dry closet in a clean, non-smoking home; never in storage. I did not have on any body makeup, or product that could transfer to the garment. It was hand-made in Israel and is 100% authentic Berta; I have original receipts if necessary.

I weighed the dress and have calculated the FedEx shipping rates; for domestic US FedEx shipping, the highest rate appears to be (listed below): $290. 

The least expensive FedEx ground rate is $80 within the US. The international shipping varies more than US domestic depending on where you are and how quickly you need it, but please reach out to me if you want my location details and the weight info. I will work with you transparently! I know what it's like to be in the bride's shoes! :)

Alterations

The dress was ordered for me brand new from Berta and it's original measurements were:
Bust: 33.1" Waist: 25.2" Hips: 35.4".

However, it was altered to my body measurements:
Bust: 31.5" Waist: 23.5" Hips: 34".
I am 5'2", wore 4" heels and the front of the dress hovered beautifully just above the floor. It has a bodice and when the train is brought up, the floor length in the back is nearly (if not exactly) the same as the front.
