Heat Moldable Fiberglass ChassisThe A3 sole is comprised of a stiff monocoque fiberglass lay-up. Unlike conventional soles, Bont soles extend beyond the base of the foot, enveloping the sides for lateral support. This ensures no energy is lost in sideways movement and also reinforces vertical rigidity. The result is a tangible increase in stiffness and security. The fit can be customized to the precise shape of your foot thanks to heat moldable thermo set epoxy resin, offering essential comfort for high mileage rides and endurance athletes. Bont's sole configuration also allows an outstanding 4.8mm stack height for a totally connected feel without a watt of wasted energy.Microfibre UpperBont shoes are built on a last shape developed with extensive research and Bont's own expertize from 20 years of sport shoe manufacturing. The upper is constructed from a soft microfibre outer with a non porous lining and closed cell memory foam padding for cushioning without water or odor retention. The outer features frontal perforations air grills in the arch area for cooling airflow in hot conditions.
