In perfect working order, just insert combustion oil. The lantern is a very ancient object used for lighting before electricity was invented. The brass lamp is the result of the evolution of the oldest lamps in terracotta, stone, bronze, silver and gold. In ancient times, vegetable oils were used for combustion, later whale animal oil which was then replaced by petroleum.
