Gorgeous handmade in Austria, Hiawatha vintage wool needlepoint tapestry. This may have originally been intended to be a bench cover/top, but it would also look beautiful framed and hung on the wall. Overall dimensions are approximately 26"x44". Finished area is approximately 21 1/2"x 38" and the inner floral area is approximately 13" x 29". It is not perfectly rectangular and may need to be stretched to get it symmetrical again. It still has the original sticker on the back and is in perfect, unused condition with no odors or damage. The corner reads Louis XVI so I assume this is a French design.
