Das Design der Teekanne ist einer Lokomotive nachempfunden, die den Fortschritt symbolisiert. Die Lokomotive soll zu den Gemeinden (in Russland) fahren, um den Fortschritt zu bringen.

New & hand cast porcelain.

Produced by the Imperial porcelain manufactory in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Second quality, and therefore without stamp of IPM (Imperial Porcelain
Manufacturer) on the back site. Together with the tea pot a certification of
confirmation of production by Lomonosov Porcelain / Imperial Porcelain
Manufacturer) will be sent (see the last foto).
The tea pot was one of the most compelling porcelain work by Kazimir Malevich.
The tea pot design resembles “the locomotive flying (going) to the municipality (commune)” on which according to the designer the art will finally catch up with the technical aspect of time reaching further advancement.
