Of note: Angelus, along w/Swiss competitors ImHof, Looping & Luxor, manufactured the best quality post WWII jeweled lever alarm, desk & shelf clocks. The movement in this particular clock (produced exclusively for Tiffany & Co.) is the final iteration prior to quartz era timepieces eclipsing traditional mechanical works.
Condition / Functionality:
The clock displays beautifully, the case having no issues but a very faint inconsequential surface scratches confined to 1/2" area above back inset mechanism hole. Both hands advance properly by turning their top back knob. The clock's centered key wind turns properly, however timepiece will require servicing as hands did not advance w/wind. Have not tested alarm. Well priced vintage Tiffany clock, sold as-is & priced accordingly. Not accepting offers. Research vtng comp values realized, running.
