Recosar 960 EC is een selectief herbicide (onkruidverdelger) voor de bestrijding van onkruid in de maïsteelt. Het vertoont een systemische werking.
Het wordt toegepast op de bodem. Het is een concentraat voor het maken van een wateremulsie (EC).
Na toepassing van Recosar 960 EC kunnen andere herbiciden na opkomst worden gebruikt ter bestrijding van tweezaadlobbige onkruiden - in overeenstemming met de daarvoor geldende etiketten.
Het middel is bedoeld voor gebruik met zelfrijdende veldspuiten of veldspuiten met trekkers.
Hoe werkt Recosar?
De werkzame stof in Recosar is geclassificeerd als een remmer van de synthese van vetzuren met lange keten. Hierdoor interfereert het met de productie van vetten en wassen die nodig zijn om de plantengroei te stoppen en celwanden op te bouwen. Jonge zaailingen of zaailingen zonder de beschermende werking van langeketenvetzuren zijn niet bestand tegen externe omstandigheden, ze verdorren snel en sterven af.
Het middel dringt de plant binnen via de wortels, zaadhuid en hypocotyl, waardoor het onkruid sterft tijdens de zaailing- of kiemfase.
Het heeft geen effect op onkruid in latere ontwikkelingsstadia.
Matige regenval en warm weer bevorderen de werking van het middel.
Vormt Recosar een bedreiging voor volggewassen?
Nee - het product vormt geen bedreiging voor volggewassen.
Als het nodig is om een plantage behandeld met dit middel te ploegen, als gevolg van schade aan het gewas door vorst, ziekten of plagen, kan na het voorzaaien maïs, bieten, aardappelen, erwten, tuinbonen, bonen, kool, tomaten, selderij, spinazie en zonnebloemen worden geteeld.

Gevoelige onkruiden: eenzijdig onkruid, krabgras, zwarte nachtschade, groene vossenstaart.
Resistente onkruiden: Datura jimson, akkerviooltje, quinoa, grootbladige quinoa, duizendknoop
DOSERING:
maïs: Maximale/aanbevolen dosis voor een enkele toepassing: 1,5 l/ha
suikermaïs, soja, zonnebloem: Maximale dosis voor één toepassing: 1,25 l/ha.
Aanbevolen dosis voor één toepassing: 1,0-1,25 l/ha.
