This looks to be an old duck decoy, possible a Wood Duck, that has nail eyes, a lead plate still attached to the
bottom. The head is held by a dowel, that can be seen on the bottom, along with old nail holes, that probably
held other lead. It was repainted by Linda Peterson, in 1997, but she did a wonderful job, it still has the antique
look. The duck measures 13” from beak to tail, standing 6” tall and 6 1/2” at the widest point. Den
