This antique later 19th century walking stick is a stunning piece of art that features a repousse gold dragon top and beautiful carving. It was made in Vietnam and bears the marking "Vinh Sa Dec". The stick is made of high-quality wood which adds to its durability and charm. The color of the stick is almost a rosewood color and the top is gold which makes it an ideal fit for formal occasions. The style of this walking stick is unique and is perfect for collectors. It is an original piece that dates back to the pre-1890s and has remained in perfect condition over the years. This walking stick is suitable for both men and women, making it a versatile accessory. It is an Oriental masterpiece that will make a great addition to any vintage collection.

This was purchased at an estate sale in Charleston, SC. The owner was a high ranking military officer. The piece was purchased in Viet Nam and is STUNNING. The length is 36” and it tapers to a metal tipped point. There is a twisted portion up near the top and the handle is hammered and gold has been applied to the metal. It is a beautiful piece. The wood looks like teak or rosewood but I am not positive about the wood species.
