The story is he very politely turned it down as the “stripe thing” was Eddie’s. We ultimately see Michael playing a couple of different early Charvels on the early albums so the story does seem to make sense.
It is in good condition and has about average playwear.
The top, back and sides have a few light scratches, indents and general mild finish wear.
There's a small crack coming off the "E" tuner.
The number in the neck pocket is #196 and the CTS pots look newer.
