- Using inspection tools to ensure the accuracy of each hole position and flatness of the pan.
- Use durable powder coating on the exterior and anti-corrosive spray on the interior, to dissipate the static charge and prevent corrosion or rust.
- 1. Remove the mounting bolts and drain the oil after the car was supported by jacks.
- 2. Use a socket to loosen and exit the old pan, also remove any metal debris with clean rag.
- 3. Run a bead of the sealant used to hold the fiber gasket to the new oil pan and install the gasket.
- 4. Make sure the holes for the bolts in the gasket and pan match each other and then tighten the screws or bolts to keep seal.
- 5. Replace old oil filter, add proper amount of oil. Make sure to watch for leaks.
