Rare CHANEL 1983 Fall/Winter Collection

This stunning haute couture jacket and ball gown skirt is from Karl Lagerfeld’s first fall collection for Chanel. Inspired by the grandeur of 18th Century court dressing, the collection featured exquisite fabrics, intricate embroidery and luxurious furs.

The off shoulder jacket is adorned with intricate gold and black sequin embroidery, with a gold Medusa on the back. Collar, back and cuffs trimmed in mink. Features 3 hidden hook and eye closures in front and gold chain and silk lining.

Partial pleated long silk taffeta ball gown skirt features hidden back zipper and and hook and eye closure.
