This is a 1995 Durango-built Yeti A.R.C. that I purchased new from a bike shop in north San Diego CA.  This was the final model A.R.C. with the original integrated seat collar and 1-1/4" headset.  Serial number A1864.

I rode it for years and in 2014, I sent the frame to Frank "The Welder" Wadelton in Vermont for the repair of several cracks.  Frank inspected the frame and replaced the head tube and seat tube and removed a small dent in the top tube.  He used slightly thicker-wall 1-1/4" ID for the head tube and 27.0mm ID for the seat tube to mitigate the issues that cracked these early 90s Yeti frames.  Following the repairs, I commissioned Spectrum Powder Works in Colorado to do a repaint in the original Yeti Team colors of yellow and turquoise and sourced replacement OEM-quality decals. Also during this time I restored or sourced the components currently on the bike (detailed below).

Non-period-correct components mainly comprise the shifters, which are 2008-era Shimano XT, matched to a 9-speed XT cassette.  The original Chris King headset uses their Devolution adapter to match the 1997 RockShox fork's 1-1/8" steerer to the Yeti frame's 1-1/4" head tube.  The tires, seat, cables, chain and grips are also relatively new.

I've ridden the bike minimally since the restoration. Everything is functional and tuned, the chain is clean and waxed, and the bike is ready to ride or show.  There are no cracks, dents, dings, or major scratches except for some chain rub on the chainstay that is now hidden by tape. Some of the turquoise anodizing has faded and there are minor scratches on the rear derailleur and the tips of the cranks. The rims and pedals show scratches and/or other signs of use.  I am happy to provide additional photos on request.
