VERY LARGE 2-1/2 LITER GERMAN BEER STEIN 

This is a nice old pottery stein from Germany.

 It has a deeply embossed outdoor eating & drinking scene with dog that is signed RD by the artist.

It is brightly handcolored with a cobalt background.

The pottery is a cream color.

The stein has a hinged pewter lid with thumb rest.

It is stamped #1620 2-1/2L Germany

The German words translate basically to 

"Life's Sunshine is Drinking and being happy"
