This is a vellum (sheepskin) lease dated June 22, 1847 for 18 Orchard Street. Signatories are William Eales, Jeremiah Little and Frederick Dowland. The three names have full intact red wax on green ribbon seals at the bottom of the document.

The document is two pages long. I have separated the two pages to enable framing of the main page, which carries the illustration and seals. The last of the photos shows this second page.

The blue registrar’s stamp, the silver insert, and the tax stamp on reverse marked VR are all intact. The document bears three signatures with red wax seals on green ribbon.
