This is a preloaded boot drive created for ANY Mac Pro 6,1 and is set up to run on macOS Sonoma macOS 14 using Open Core - Simply plug this in the internal Drive slot, boot up and your ready to go.
Using Apple Migration Assistant you can transfer all login, apps, data and system prefrences over from your previous system.
• This 1 TB boot drive is made by OWC and is designed for Macs as an upgrade to the original SSD drives. The OWC Aura Pro X2 SSD PCIe is NEW and preloaded with a complete macOS system ready to go.
• The macOS Sonoma 14 is installed with the OpenCore Legacy Patcher pre set up for any Mac Pro Tower 6,1 extending the life span of these Mac Pro towers.
• These Mac Pros can not extend beyond Monterey 12.7 and unless using the well documented and stable OpenCore Legacy Patch system. We tend to prefer Ventura 13 on these but we have had good success with Sonoma 14 in a production environment.
