227,xxx Selmer Mark VI Alto Sax- original finish w/ $1200 pro overhaul!!

We just got in this fantastic playing mark vi alto sax. This horn is a 227xxx so one of the last mark vi’s produced. There are some very pronounced characteristics of this vintage that are worth mentioning. These horns are not only medium bows (which are regarded as selmers best bow configuration) but this horn also plays with a bit more projection and edge than other vintages. This is the same Vintage that players like Eric marienthal has played his entire career. If your looking for projection to cut through electric instruments, this is the horn you want. Probably one of the most powerful mark vi’s with core & cut, that we’ve had in years! About a year ago this horn had a complete overhaul by one of LA’s finest techs, Ivan Lukyanets. Horn is in great original shape with about 50% of its original laq remaining. This belonged to a local la studio musician that put this against a ton of horns- and it was tough to beat out.
