Original True Vintage Wool Bathing Suit. C.G.L. Knitwear Cleveland, Ohio - They called this one the "Fashion Maid" as tagged. This is a 1 piece design with sewn in shorts at the waist. We are estimating this to be 1920's or 1930's era. Amazing condition for its age as shown in the photos. We found 2 small places that look to have been repaired at one point - One of these is located near butt area and concealed by the top. These areas are only noticeable upon close inspection. Tapers in at the waist - The chest and hip are the same flat lay measurement. Suit has held elasticity over the years - Could be worn ... We can't see why not - Really incredible condition!
