Very rare, very well made and very beautiful...this fine bakelite design comes out of Solingen Germany from the 1950s.   The cream colored bakelite and translucent golden lucite was really nice as a dessert fork handle. But with some careful repurposing it's now a stunning and functional tobacco pipe tamper.

   The tamper is three generations old, so expect some patina and wear, but I choose the best materials I can find...so look over the photos and purchase with confidence.
