We are offering a CDV photograph of Alexandra of Denmark, who married Queen Victoria's son Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, conferring on her the title of Princess of Wales, which she held from 1863 until 1901.  When Queen Victoria died in 1901, Albert Edward became King Edward VII of England, and Alexandra became queen-empress.  Upon Edward's death in 1910, Alexandra became queen mother, and their son George V ascended the throne as King of England.
