This is a delightful small brass Moet & Chandon Champagne tray with an embossed cork in the bed of the tray

and grapes, leaves, and vines in relief on the border.

Dating from the 1920s, the tray was perhaps used to hold the champagne bottle cage and cork

or to serve as a tip tray/ash tray/change dish/vide poche. 

This enchanting item can hold infinite treasures.   

The tray is in very good condition—free of dents and any serious oxidation.
