My name is Tessa Williams, my Grandfather wrote this book and has passed the torch on to me to sell the copies of the 2nd and final edition of his book. These will be the last copies available. He has fond memories dating back to his childhood while growing up in Anderson, Indiana of listening to the Indianapolis 500 on the radio with friends. He decided to take a trip to Jungle Park as a result of his interest in racing as well as the history of the state of Indiana which ended up resulting in the creation of this project.

"In 1925, acting on a long held dream, Earl Padgett built
a small resort and a half-mile speedway on an isolated
piece of west central Indiana land. He hacked out the
overgrown trees, vines and under-brush and named the
place Jungle Park. It would become one of early auto
                                             racing's most famous tracks."
