Here we have a pewter golf tankard depicting the layout of the Old Course at St. Andrews. The pewter tankard was made in Sheffield, England and displays the hole layout on the front of the item, with a scorecard featured on the backside up to 1984. The tankard stands 5 1/8" tall with a bottom diameter of 4 1/8". Top diameter is 3 1/4". Condition is good and base has slight dint. Above the course layout on the front of the tankard it reads:

The Royal and Ancient Golf Club, which was founded in 1754 as the society of St. Andrews Golfers,
is recognized world wide as the headquarters of golf. The Old Course was granted to the citizens of St. Andrews
in 1552 and has remained a public course ever since
