It consists of two chairs and very thick leather, a table made of a chessboard made of leather, and figures beautifully hand-carved in ebony and mindi wood.
The history of the set is quite interesting. Well, it came to Australia, where about 40 years ago I bought it at an antiques auction in Sydney. I paid about AU$2,000 and received a certificate of authenticity and had the set at home for many years. A few years ago I moved to Poland and the set came with me in a container along with other things. Unfortunately, the bill and certificate are somewhere, but in a place unknown to me;). Now, for a change, I'm moving to Bali and with a heavy heart I have to get rid of them.
I am advertising it for sale, probably several times below its value, any test of its authenticity is welcome, but I must admit, as a chess player, that playing chess with it is not easy, the pieces are too scattered because each one is different. I wish you a pleasant bidding. I guarantee a refund for the purchase if the authenticity test is negative.
