Very very rare. Child’s original antique Victorian sofa, Renaissance Revival era 1860-1880.

With a serpentine frame and carved wood frame, this miniature children’s sofa was created to be ‘just like mother’s’. About 3-1/2 feet wide, 30” high.

Only the children of extremely well-to-do families would have had this couch in their nursery, bedroom, playroom. Maybe in the parlor next to mother’s.

The wood frame is very sturdy - no cracks, no separations, no wiggles - made of walnut or mahogany i think. Sofa wood needs refinishing.

Tufted / tucked upholstery needs recovering front and back. Originally covered either in velvet or leather.

About 30 inches high, 23 inches deep and 41-1/2 inches long. Old stuffing is straw.

Shipping: buyer or agent to pick up near Nashville. It would ship in an oversized box, you can message your zip and i can check out ups etc. or here are the measurements, add 4-5” to each and research for yourself.

SHIPPING: All items we ship in the US have tracking or Delivery Confirmation. We purchase our shipping labels through eBay, so they should have a record of your tracking number with your payment to us.

WARNING: You should talk to your postmen about what they do with packages. Do they leave them by your door? In your hall? With a neighbor? Inform him, in writing, NOT to leave them on a porch or by your door if the security of those places is unreliable. We set a very high bar on our packaging. We use: USPS: 1st Class, Priority, Parcel (US only); UPS and FedEx.
