This listing is for one brand new, non functional, 2" cowl  hood for the 99-02 Chevrolet Silverado. This hood is a direct replacement to your stock hood and requires no modification to install. All our hoods feature a fully finished factory style underside.  Unlike fiberglass, our steel hoods will not flex or warp over time. Regardless of where you are located our steel hoods will stay looking great for years to come.

Hoods arrive in a black "e" coat finish. This is not a primer. Its a sealer put on the hood to protect against rush. The hood will require basic prep work (test fit, sand, prime) before paint can be installed. We strongly recommend having a qualified auto body shop paint and install this hood.

This hood is non functional. It arrives exactly as it is pictured below. We have had some of our customer cut out the scoop to make it functional. 

We do not recommend doing this and it voids your warranty.

Shipping Information

Due to the size of this item, it must ship via Truck Freight (18 wheeler). 

Most freight shipments arrive to your location in 5-10 business days (2 weeks)

You will have to be present at time of delivery to inspect and sign for the package. We ship in the continental United States only. No HI, AK, PR or Canada.

We never charge a "Residential Delivery Fee".

All freight shipment require a verifiable working telephone number.

 Please email us your phone number or include it in the comments section on PayPal when sending your payment. 

Your order will be held if we do not receive a working phone number.


Freight Damages

At the time of delivery your will be asked to sign a piece of paper. This piece of paper is called a "Bill of Lading". It states that you have inspected the product for any damage and are satisfied with the condition of the product. This "Bill of Lading" is a carefully prepared legal document written by the trucking companies legal department. It is written to favor them, not you. This order will be inspected before shipment and will ship in good condition. Your order will be insured, however, the insurance ends with your signature on the "Bill of Lading".

DO NOT SIGN FOR THIS SHIPMENT UNTIL THE MERCHANDISE HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE BOX AND COMPLETELY INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE. Don't be fooled by a box that looks "OK". You must inspect the contents before signing the bill of lading whether the box looks damaged or not!. If there is damage on your product you must write "FREIGHT DAMAGED" on the bill of lading, refuse the item, and contact us immediately. We will ship a replacement product and file a damage claim with the freight carrier.

Don't be fooled by a box that looks "OK". If you sign the bill of lading without checking your order, we can not repair or replace a damaged part because your signature on the freight bill absolves the freight carrier of any and all responsibility for the damaged item(s).

Return Information

We allow return on items up to 30 days after they have been received. We do not accept returns on used, installed, painted or modified parts. Buyer is responsible for all cost associated with returning a product. All returns required a valid RA# which can be obtained by contacting us at 877 667 7407

All parts must be received back in original condition. Any part received back that is not in original condition will be refused and returned to the buyer at the buyers expense.
