Item Desc: Fine Quality ca. 1875 Grand Tour Bronze Bust of Caesar? (definitely a Roman guy) on a highly figured red marble plinth. Overall height of bronze & red marble in 7.5" (bronze is 6.5"). Bronze is rich, deep chocolate with a fantastic old surface, showing gentle wear, verdigris, light scratches, etc. Please see the many detailed pics to appreciate the fine character of the surface. Few minor corner & edge chips to the red base, scratches, etc., so please see the pics. No other damage, presents most handsomely, buyer will be very pleased. Black marble base not included, and not original to the piece, but I always kept the bust on it. Let me know if you like it, too. Great classical antique look that works with any stylish interior.
