Extra large gold hand-painted folding bamboo fan is constructed with two layers of very thick paper. The painting features symbols of good fortune, wealth, and prosperity (peony flowers and birds.) Its expansive size makes it suitable for use as wall decor. Measures 34-3/4" when folded, 62" when opened. 

Bears the "Made in China" certificate of authenticity. The bamboo has been treated with a dramatic dark, almost black, stain. Pivotal hardware is intact and solid. The third span from the right has a 2" tear at the top crease. The paper on the back had several tears but these have since been repaired. The beautiful images painted on the front side are unaffected by these minor imperfections.
