2022 Qatar FIFA Soccer World Cup - Austria(Oesterreichische) Post Office Issue # A004. This stamp  is the FIRST of THREE  AUSTRIAN stamps which commemorate the World Championship. Two additional stamps showing the FINAL score of Argentina and France have been printed in Vienna and are available - see our  listings.  This stamp is based on one of our designs printed by Canada Post for the GAMES.

Canada Post printed three different stamps for this event. 

1) # 213 - 'P' Value from Booklet of 12 -GREEN Frame

2) # 214 - 'P' Value from Sheet of 25 -PURPLE Frame

3) # 215 - "Airmail - $2.71" Value (Sheet) -GREEN Frame

 

Canada Post printed a very limited issue (Picture Postage) commemorating this Championship. The stamps and FDC's will be listed in the CPPC (Canadian Picture Postage Collectors catalogue:  www   picturepostage - net. The estate of the late Darlene Burt, the webmaster of the picture postage website indicated that they will add new stamps now that the program has come to its end.

The NAMIBIA Post Office in South West Africa printed a souvenir sheet, see picture, based on our Canadian design. See Ebay listing.
