WW1 Victory medal to 19793 Pte. G(eorge) Dykes, (8th Battalion) South Lancashire Rgt.

George Dykes was born in October 1891 in Silverdale, Staffordshire.  He enlisted on 17^th July 1915.

He was discharged on 26^th July 1917 and was entitled to a Silver Wound Badge (whereabouts unknown).   

He died in 1940 aged 60, having been listed as “disabled” following the war.

This medal comes with the research shown, hence the price.
