We wrote the book on kayak accessories, specifically sun shades, and this is a strategic modification of our Original Sun Shade... a little longer and a little more narrow to fit and cover perfectly for sit on top kayaks... The extra length covers you from head to toe. You need this with a sit on top kayak.. a little extra coverage, as your legs are not enclosed.
The frame is custom made from 1 inch diameter aluminum tubing with nylon fittings. The fabric is a top tier marine grade polyester canvas. It is the same material we make our boat covers from, and it is engineered to last 20 years at least. The material is woven from engineered polyester thread, then polyurethaned, waterproofed, and sealed.

Installation
The assembled product is roughly 24” wide, so it fits comfortably between mount points of 20” and 28”, and super well between 22” and 26”. It is 39 inches tall, and right at 6 feet long. The first time, or original installation is very easy. It comes with all hardware, clear instructions, and unlimited support from us. Then, it is super easy to remove or reinstall as you need it, depending on weather conditions, sun, rain, your personal preference, etc. This item we are offering here is the complete sun shade kit, including the canopy, frame, and hardware kit. The kayak is not included.
